 Name: Kenneth Dyer
 Profession: Everyday Hero
 Location: Lone Grove, Oklahoma

Kenneth Dyer has touched hundreds of lives in a way that most people might take for granted. For 20 years, Dyer has served as a crossing guard, helping generations of school kids safely cross a busy U.S. Highway 70 in Lone Grove, Okla. He has spent 22 years working for the Lone Grove schools. When he's not guarding the children's safety, he's keeping the district's elementary school in ship shape. His biggest frustration? When drivers don't pay attention and speed their way through the school zone. His wife, Sandra, told the Daily Ardmoreite newspaper that "He's never had a child hurt in all the years he's been out there … a lot of the students who graduated come by and talk to Dyer and introduce their children to him saying, 'this is the man that helped me.'"
